We tried this one on a whim after seeing the sign for Thai food. There were two other groups seated when we went in, but it took too long for them to bring out anything! Even the soup and spring roll.
We ordered the Pad Thai and a Spring roll and the dinner combo of Won Ton soup, Beef with Broccoli and an Egg Roll. As I said, it took a long time for any food to be brought out. The first was the fried noodles with two sauces. Neither of us wanted to eat more than one or two of those on account of the odd greasy taste, even though we were hungry.
The Spring roll was ok, nothing special. The soup was pretty good, surprisingly. Maybe the best part of the meal.
The Pad Thai was different from any I've had before. Usually I try that so as to be able to compare restaurants and this one was my least favorite of dozens. The noodles were broad and al dente. The beef was ok and there were just three sugar peas in the dish - which was not a generous portion. I did not see the eggs that I'm used to at other restaurants. The sauce was ok. I did take some home for next day's lunch and it seemed to improve with age!
The Beef with Broccoli was also just ok and came with a bowl of white rice which was good. The beef was very tender but had an odd taste. We took some of that home too and the odd taste was more pronounced next day.
The tea was good and there was no charge for it on the bill. Overall we felt that even though the price was good, we would not want to go back. It cost $27 for both, plus tip.
They now have a sushi bar but there was no customer there. I did see them take out a number of bags/orders of Take Out.
