We went on Chinese New Year, but it wasn't what we expected. Chinese Mirch is a cuisine that has Indian and Chinese melded, so not a typical Chinese restaurant. There was probably a more Indian flavor, even including mango lassi, but with slightly different flavoring. We tried a lychee drink, which was lovely. We ordered two appetizers, fried momos with vegetable filling, which were excellent, but outdone by the gobi manchurian, crispy,seasoned cauliflower which was amazing. The salt and pepper prawns were cooked in ginger and garlic, and we loved it. The coriander vegetables not so much. The finishing touch was the brownie sizzler, which came on a hot plate, with the fudge sizzling on the plate, and crowning the ice cream. Contrary to what one reviewer said, the attitude was perfectly fine both from our server and from the gentleman who welcomed us to the restaurant.
