It is difficult to find good quality Peruvian restaurants in the metro area, for most of them mix their seasoning with that of other countries. Even though La Kausa is advertised as Peruvian and Chilean cuisine on their website, they excel at serving dishes reminiscent of home flavors.
The location is easily accessible, but like every establishment in the area, parking could be an issue. The inside is dimly light and clean, with warm décor from the Andes and modern paintings that will catch your eye. On any given night you will find the manager making sure food and service is good, which is a big point in my book.
The food is simply delicious. Have dined and ordered in from this restaurant several times, and on every occasion was rewarded with large portions and tasty meals. Especially appetizing is causa, which gives name to the location, offered in varieties of chicken, shrimp or vegetarian. I could certainly eat those all day. Was not a big fan of their grilled meat cut, but everything else I’ve tried on the menu was exquisite.
