“Great hotel”

Me and my family stayed here two nights. Was a very clean hotel. No smells. Pool was nice, kids loved it. Not many people use the pool, so we had it all to ourselves most of the time. Room was clean. I wish it had a hot tub. They charge you $20 per day to park, but I guess that is standard in the big city. We had to leave early, and they were very good to get us a refund. Very close to the Statue of Liberty and New York.

having stayed here many times before, I'm still impressed by their consistent attention to detail. Room always ready when I arrive and clean, safe. Parking lot always full and distance to car off-putting, but there are no choices.

This hotel is a generally comfortable place to stay. However, it really could use a general upgrade to the rooms and some of the common areas. It has a decent restaurant and lounge. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Hotel is very close to the airport-a big plus. Rooms are quiet with just the basic amenities. Staff is friendly and attentive when there is a problem. Restaurant food and service needs improvement. Many guests go to the hotel next door for dinner.

Nice hotel and always love a doubletree with a warm chocolate chip cookie :) friendly and attentive staff, nice clean room and prompt van service. Would recommend staying here. Van will take you back to the airport or to the train station to catch a train into NYC

The employees are wonderful and friendly and help in every way possible to make your trip easy and comfortable. I needed ice for my arm and the woman bringing towels and cleaning rooms saw my distress and jumped right in and took me to the ice machine and filled the plastic bag for me. She went above the call to help me.

Two lamps were burned out. The remote's batteries were dead. The air conditioning would not work when you trying to lower the temperature more than one degree. The walls are paper thin. It was as though only a curtain were separating our rooms. This was noisy and made it difficult to concentrate on my work.
