I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I stayed here because I had a flight out of Newark the next day. They picked me up from Newark airport and also dropped me off the next day. It was almost midnight when I check in so the guy at the front desk gave me complimentary late check out for an hour. I extended the late check out for 2 more hours. The room was very big and the bed was comfortable. I really can't say anything bad about this hotel as it more than exceeded my expectations.

The Marriott at Newark Airport is a great hotel to overnight before an early morning flight departure. The hotel is conveniently located on the airport grounds; only five to ten minutes from hotel to terminal front door. Marriott operates a free shuttle every 15 minutes 24 x 7. The rooms are clean and nicely appointed. The restaurant and bar are more than adequate. There is a good fitness room. The WiFi performed well. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. All things considered, we would positively return next time we are flying out of or through Newark.

This Marriot hotel is right next to Newark International Airport. There is a free courtesy shuttle running every 15-20 minutes between the hotel and the airport. The rooms are super clean and nice. There is a restaurant across the check-in counter. The food at the restaurant is not bad at all with good variety as well. Hotel self-park parking is available with a gated lot that runs around the hotel property. Good insulation. I did not hear planes taking off or land. Highly recommended if you are picking up someone during awkward hours or if you have a flight leaving but you don't want to deal with the hassle of the traffic in the Newark and NYC area.
