This was our third stay. As usual, impressed by the staff particularly the friendly shuttle drivers and the porters, but felt the rooms are now pretty aged looking. All was very clean though. We got a king room on the sixth floor. It was on the corner so had good aspects, however the room seemed smaller than others in the past and also more tired and worn. It seemed to be set up for one as there were few toiletries and only one coffee refill. That would soon sorted by a phone call though.
This time we noticed other hotels offered shuttle to Newark Penn station and also Jersey Gardens mall. Therfore next time we will try that and liked the look and sound of the Hilton beside Penn station, saving on the laborious monorail/Nj transit train journey which is getting expensive at $15 single journey.
Pool and hot tub nice as usual, no real complaints but feel a change is due next time.More
