Another great place to enjoy Portuguese food. We met up with friends last night and shared a wonderful meal. We started with stuffed octopus and a plate of chorizos as appetizers and of course a pitcher of San Gria. I had chicken breast in garlic sauce topped with spinach and peppers. The amount of food on everyone's plates was incredible. The other 3 people of our foursome went for surf & turf types of dinner. Lobster, shrimp, cod, steak, etc which all were very pleased with. For dessert we had flan and creme brulee with espresso.
The atmosphere was small but quaint. You can eat in the lounge side or in the regular dining room. The staff were all very friendly and very knowledgable on all of the offerings on the menu. There are quite a few Portuguese restaurants in the Ironbound section of Newark, but this one will always be the best one in my opinion. Will definitely eat here again
