The public transportation is in fact the best use of transportation around and serves all guests very well. It runs throughout most of the day and night and is readily available for use. It is inexpensive and reliable as well for many business, and leisure travelers. I also want to thank you on the ratings you have provided us with the room quality, sleep quality, location, etc. Once my team sees this review it will make them feel satisfied and proud to perform better everyday.

Made reservations through Priceline.com. Once I was checked in they asked me to pay extra $15.00 per night for parking. This was the first time I have ever stayed at a hotel that I had to pay for parking my car.
Very disappointed with this hotel charging extra for this parking without letting the customer know up front that these fees were going to be charged. I would have not picked this place if I new I had to add $15.00 per night. For that price I paid plus the parking I could had stayed somewhere else. I feel they are taking advantage of customers. This is ridicules charging for parking your car when we are stay in the Hotel.
Otherwise I have no other complaints about this place. If they want me back they better get rid of the parking feed.

I want to thank you very much for taking your time to write a review for us as it helps in understanding the viewpoints of our guests better. Many times the comments of guests are able to help us improve in the most deficient of areas of our hotel.
Your primary concern, as per my understanding, was the parking fee which was charged to your account during check in but I must notify you that this fee is applied to all our guests who use the parking lot and stay with us overnight. We have a competitively lower price in comparison to other hotels in the area such as the Ramada Inn, Hampton Inn, and Springhill Suites. Regardless of the fact I want to apologize for not making this clear to you before hand. The management, including myself, are looking into reducing the fee if we are not allowed to remove it completely for your future stays with us and other guests.
I am very pleased that you found our rooms to your standard and expectation and hope that you do return very soon. We pride our selves in providing the best service to our guests everyday and results are showing that we are succeeding and guests are happy.

The low-rated Newark Howard Johnson Hotel is yet another example of less is more. For my airport hotel, I went for low cost. At 12:30 am, I got off the airtrain in Newark to find the only hotel shuttle waiting for guests was the Howard johnson van - THE best possible start to an overnight stay at any hotel. Check in was a breeze. The room was large, with fridge and microwave and bathtub. The bed was comfy.
Another example of 'less is more'.
I'm giving this little traveller's refuge an A+.
