Absolutely gorgeous B&B. The host was a lovely woman who was so accomodating and wonderful. She also cooked a really tasty breakfast in the morning and did a great job serving us. The room was so nice and quaint, with a fireplace and balcony overlooking the property. The bathroom was new and pristine and the entire place was so quiet. We went to six flags frightfest at night and it was fairly close to the inn. We didn't get home too late, but it seemed like everyone was sleeping at that time. During the day we took a walk around the property and the vineyards. We were able to pet the horses and just take our time and nothing was really off limits. The only downside is the winery was closed the day we were there, but looked like it would have been fun to go to. Great experience and it was a great quiet night out of the city!!

I just returned from a stay at the Dancer Farm, and it was a truly wonderful experience!

The B&B was located in a beautiful part of Central/Southern New Jersey, surrounded by farms and horse fields. It was 2 minutes away from the Laurita Winery, 5 minutes from De Wolff's farm (a great U-Pick-Em place that features fresh vegetables, pumpkins and a corn maze in the fall), and 10 minutes away from Six Flags. We were able to find the B&B without any problem, and it was on a quiet country road abutting a large horse farm.

The B&B itself was an old farmhouse that was beautifully, tastefully redone and preserved. It had a few sitting rooms, plenty of books to read, outdoor space, and a warm, friendly atmosphere. We stayed in the America room, which was a patriotic-themed room. It was spotless, had a nice bathroom, and featured a private balcony. The walls/doors were a bit thin, but it wasn't much of an issue. We were able to peek in at some of the other rooms, which looked equally clean and nice. The room photos on the website were very accurate.

The innkeeper was very friendly (she took over the B&B in September), and she was very welcoming and obviously took pride in her establishment. She showed us around the B&B, took us up to our room, and let us know the breakfast choices for the next day. Breakfast was slow (the inn was busy that weekend) but very tasty and well-prepared.

The grounds were beautiful, and we walked around the horse paddocks in the morning (right next to the B&B), and we could have strolled to the winery if we had more time. It was amazing how serene and peaceful the area was, especially since it was only about 80 minutes from NYC!

Overall, the Dancer Farm was romantic, beautifully appointed, immaculately clean, and in a peaceful location. I would definitely recommend this B&B for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

This was such a lovely time for my husband and I . The place was beautiful and the rooms were lovely. We came to get a stress free weekend and that was exactly what we got. The room was so nice and clean. Ours had a nautical theme with a neat loft. The inn is surrounded by beautiful horse fields which was just beautiful. The inn keepers were so wonderful. They were warm and friendly and to help with whatever we needed. They made it so welcoming that we felt right at home. If your looking for a peaceful -quiet time in NJ- this is the place to be. It was my serenity.

Beautiful property and location and that was about it. The rooms needed a deep cleaning and new carpet. The Innkeepers were not into the guests or their job at all. They were never around. When they were around, I felt like I was inconveniencing them. Most of the time I saw kids cleaning rooms and helping in the kitchen which I did not approve of. They also let a dog in the kitchen which is unsanitary. I just hope all these people in the kitchen are washing their hands! The breakfasts were average, ordinary and limited...the same every day. Would have liked to have some home made muffins, potatoes or bacon! All they make is omlets, porkroll and french toast, which gets old after a few days. This could be a great place if they hired a Chef, a Cleaning Person and a Hostess!
