This is one of my favorite restaurant in downtown New Brunswick. It is not so big and very quiet which my husband love. The food never disappoint me (we have been there about 5 times in the last 3 years), but we can't afford to go all the time because it tends to be pricey and we eat out a lot...I love the cream brule for dessert and the staff service is very, very nice....A great place!

We had eaten here over 20 years ago and really enjoyed it. The area has changed dramatically for the better over that period of time and the restaurant is now located in a very attractive residential area. Food and wine selections were innovative and intriguing; my snapper was served on a pear slice with pear puree. Prices are not modest so this spot seems to be aiming for the special occasion/well-healed urban dweller. Service was bifurcated. Our waiter didn't spend much time with us, laying off actual service to others. His diffidence was a bit grating. Delivery of our drinks and entrees was slow. But everyone had a smile and the place was packed. A good vibe was had by all.

One of the oldest restaurants in New Brunswick. Beautifully maintained with valet parking. Extensive wine and drink menu. Very creative menu, many excellent fish and meat choices, also vegetarian selections. Nice bar area. Open for lunch and dinner.

Betsy may be in Mexico but this restaurant that she built up still holds true to its making. Decor that surrounds you like a friend and food that satifies....take the time to have a seat at the table!

Great place: flexible menu options for vegetarians & both conservative & adventurous omnivores. My wife had savory carrot & lentil soup, the most tender organic chicken breast every roasted & a chocolate banana bread. I had 6 course tasting menu including octopus salad, roasted pork & some wonderful cheese but a disappointingly banal fig bread pudding. Each course artfully plated. The mix of flavors, textures, aromas & colors were well balance so that the courses (all but the fig bread pudding) played well together. The service, including the valet parking (no parking lot at the restaurant that we could see) was very good, sufficiently attentive but not exceptional. The noise level too high & the tables overly crowded for true comfort.
