On the expensive side, but the food and the service is well worth it. From the fresh cheeses and prosciutto to the superb entries. One of my favorites in New Brunswick.

Its a Sunday night in downtown New Brunswick. We decided to try this great looking restaurant. Luckily we were seated immediately without a reservation. The ambiance is very good, the food is good to very good, (nice menu) but the service was a little long. There seemed to be plenty of wait staff but not enough actual servers to take orders for drink and food. Everyone was friendly and helpful when they did come to the table. I may be nitpicking but we kind of expected more for the prices. I would be willing to give the place another try maybe on a weeknight to see if maybe it was just an off night. PS: they were out of cabernet...How can you be out of cabernet in an italian restaurant?

The service here had always been iffy: pretentious but slow and inefficient. But the food, though over priced, was good. Now the food has gone downhill too: over cooked pasta, oily sauces, over cooked fish... Not coming back!

It you can overlook the old, white person's decore, you will enjoy a very good meal. Waitstaff was attentive, pleasant and professional.

$33 for shrimp scampi entree that arrived 5 mins after i ordered it. absurd especially since when it arrived the lemon in the sauce assaulted my sense of smell and the taste was awful. Management handled it well. My second plate sans lemon which was a surprise given a good scampi always has some lemon married to the evoo and butter and garlic. But the pasta was under cooked and not salted. The food stood in sharp contrast to such fancy decor, prices, and waitstaff in lovely attire. I might have had a better experience at fillipo's around the corner.
