“Good food, deserted restaurant”
Reviewed January 10, 2012

It was with trepidation that we took our seats in a restaurant entirely empty on a Saturday night. Was there something those missing diners knew that we didn't?

The food turned out to be fine. The steaks were tasty and reasonably priced. The waitress, Erica, was outstandingly professional. A good value.

We had a few quibbles. My husband thought his cheddar cheese mashed potato was weird. Also, we told on the phone that they validated parking, but this turned out not to be the case. Over all, however, it is a nice alternative to some of the more expensive New Brunswick restaurants.

“Good Times”
Reviewed August 18, 2011

We recently hosted a private party here and were impressed. Service was excellent, the manager was around the entire time and checked-in to make sure that everything was up to par. We had appetizers as part of our event and they all came out tasting great. Wait staff were attentive to guests and served drinks quickly. Prices were on the expensive side, but in-line with the rest of New Brunswick. Only complaint was that since parties are hosted in the back of the bar, guests had a difficult time finding us. Signs or a host greeting people would have been helpful.

“hated the glass woods”
Reviewed October 19, 2008

we did not stay at the Hyatt but ate at the glass woods restaurant. the food was ok. it was very loud, about 2 different tvs going and 2 different types of music at the same time. everyone from the bar has to walk through the restaurant to go the bathroom. every thing on the menu as far as apps and bottles of wine were over priced. don't look at the menue prices on line - everything is more, for example on line it said a bottle of kim crawford was 38 dollars when we went there is was 48 dollars. we were the only people served on a sat. night!!!! i would not come back!
