“Good potential, but not up to standard.”
Reviewed August 10, 2013 via mobile

We went on a Saturday night with my two kids and husband. Food was OK, but overpriced for a small pizza place. The menu leads you to believe that it is a higher standard than a standard pizza restaurant, but not so. The pasta was precooked, then dropped and reheated. My husband had Chicken Marsala that was very bland. They advertised Borgati ravioli from the Bronx on both the regular menu and the daily specials. However, they did not have any.

Service was very slow, not because our waitress was not trying, but because she was the only on. It is a small place with only about 15 tables. On a Saturday night they need to put another person on the floor.

This place has a great menu, different from the standard pizza/italian restaurant, but they take too many short cuts. Cooking food fresh and to order would greatly improve the place. We will go somewhere else next time.

“Food was excellent”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

Very good food. Worth checking out. Sunken bar and attached to a convenience store for convenience. I had a pizza and it was one of the best that I have had in a while.

“Very good local Italian restaurant”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

This is one of our favorite Italian restaurants in the area. I'm particularly fond of their shrimp parmigiana, but I'm usually the only one in our party who gets it. My wife and daughter-in-law love their pasta sauce -- and they do a good job on the pasta dishes. My son usually finds something in the seafood part of the menu, and always has good things to say about it.

“Hard to find, outstanding food”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

In a strip mall off of Sylvania, this place looks like nothing. The Flounder Francaise is outstanding. All the food is excellent. The true mom and pop experience. BYO. Very reasonably priced.

“Totally disappointing”
Reviewed December 1, 2012 via mobile

This place used to be great. Then they sold off the bar part and it seems to have changed it all. We sat down and it took forever to even get the table set. Why go on the lasagna was hot on the edges and cold in the middle. We had to beg for bread The only thing said was "sorry". No effort to improve things. Stay away. Going to Dunkin Donuts for coffee afraid to chance it here
