“Feels like home”
Reviewed March 10, 2013

I come here often on business. Staff is friendly. Comfortable rooms. Need help in club lounge though. Convenient location to Philly and major highways.
I checked out aloft but do prefer The Westin. I feel safe and it is like another home.

Room Tip: even number rooms-less noise.

I visit this area on business several times a year. The default choice is usually the Aloft, right across the street. Aloft hotels are typically very nice. However this Westin is much better. Clean and well equipped room.

I should preface this by saying I'm generally a big fan of the Westin chain/Starwood brand. I don't mind spending the extra coin to have a luxurious room and upgraded amenities. That said, this was a little disappointing. We stayed here one night en route out of state to our new home and after packing/moving all day, I was looking forward to some serious luxury. Not so fast, my friend. The room was okay, the bathroom was small and uninspiring, and horror upon horrors, there was no Starbucks or other coffee shop within the hotel. They wanted to charge us $10 for 2 small styrofoam cups of plain coffee. The service was good, as you'd expect--but overall, this hotel is nothing special. If you're planning on staying in the area, you might want to consider Aloft across the street--much newer.

Dear Patmo51,
Thank you for your comments concerning our hotel in Mount Laurel. We apologize that we did not live up to your expectations.
I did want to point out though that we do indeed serve Starbucks coffee throughout the hotel. I apologize that our staff did not do a better job at communicating that to you.
I do hope that you do give us another opportunity in the future.

We had our wedding at The Westin! We were beyond thrilled with our experience! From the booking process, to the planning, down to our actual wedding day the staff was so amazing! They were always there to answer any questions that we had during the planning process! They took time to help us plan everything out perfectly! The food was amazing! Our wedding day ran smoothly thanks to Melanie and her staff!

Love staying at Westins for the Heavenly Bed and overall quality. This one wasn't quite up to snuff. To its credit, there was a sign at the front desk saying, "please forgive our renovation dust." I, however, didn't see any renovating, just things that needed fixing. In our room, for example, on a floor for Starwood Preferred guests, the tap on the faucet was loose and askew, the thermostat didn't work, the mirror was cracked, a table was broken, and one lamp was so askew in its base that we couldn't touch it or it would fall over. It also took about 20 minutes to get hot water to the 6th floor. Staff were nice. This place needs some significant work to warrant the room fees. Very disappointing for a chain that is typically so good.

The staff is definitely very helpful and friendly which is highly appreciated. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is right off the highway near a lot of businesses and a quick shot to downtown Philadelphia. However, because of the high standard I consider with Westins and the Starwood brand, I gave it only 4 stars - I felt it was a bit in need of a refresh or there was a little something missing... There just seemed to be a lot of wall peeling, carpet marks, etc but nothing that is a showstopper - I would happily stay there again.

Stayed her one night while attending a celebration. Front desk staff was very friendly. Our room, which had a king size bed and treadmill was very clean and comfortable. The indoor pool was clean and heated. The surrounding area has many resturants and is close to Philly. I would stay her again if in the area.
