We were looking forward to a relaxing hotel night in between long camping trips. Check in started out so well with a very warm and friendly front desk worker. We went to the assigned room and the key did not work. A manager walked back with us after the second desk visit. As soon as the door opened she left, too soon to see that the room was already occupied. Third visit to the front desk and the representative said the wrong room was written down for us. We went to the new room and found it was not the one we reserved. On the fourth visit to the front desk we were told that there were no rooms available of the type we reserved. All of this was compounded by the fact that we were very hungry, waiting to eat take out dinner which got cold during all the room shuffling.

The pool did not open for the evening until 8:30p, disappointing for our small family members. When it did open, the water was cloudy and slightly greenish.

Laundry was an important consideration as we were between camping trips. We were very disappointed that our clothes were completely soaked after washing, dripping wet. They did not dry after 3 dryer cycles.

Breakfast was ok for homewood suites. They used disposable utensils and plates, something we prefer to avoid.

The front desk agent at check out offered to apply 20,000 Hilton honors points to our account due to all of these problems. I don’t know if this was done as we didn’t get any notification.

Our family of four (me, my wife and two children) stayed at this location for four nights in June/July 2018 while visiting the Philadelphia attractions. The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and offered wonderful service.

We entered our king suite (1 bedroom with pull out sofa for kids in the living area) to find that the bathroom was very poorly lit. I called the front desk and they sent someone to replace the fixture very quickly. They also provided me with an extra luggage rack as I requested.

The room itself was a little smaller and somewhat outdated compared to other Homewood Suites I've stayed at, and the room was mildly damp during our stay despite the air conditioner running constantly. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the room was very clean for the exception of the mattress cover on the pull out couch which we promptly removed.

The property is huge and like a labyrinth. It took me a day or so to get my bearings.

The breakfast was great. Good selection and well stocked. The evening reception was also nice.

The pool area was well maintained and my kids enjoyed swimming nightly.

The drive to Philadelphia each morning took about 30 minutes, but was well worth the savings versus staying in the city.

I would happily stay at this location again!

Room Tip: Select top floor room on side opposite the highway.

Suite was excellent. Staff was friendly and courteous. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. The breakfast staff were especially friendly and went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and to provide whatever people needed.

It was a good standard hotel. Nice size suites and mostly clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating although not enough of them for the full occupancy of the weekend. Could use more staff on duty, especially for cleaning rooms. But, good stay, overall.
