We had stopped just off the Turnpike in NJ for the night and were given a list of restaurants by the hotel staff. After a little research we picked Stefano's and are glad we did. The service was great and so was the food. I had a veal special. The scaloppini were large, fork tender in a cream sauce over linguini. My wife loves gnocchi and is always trying to find one as good as what she makes. She proclaimed the ones at Stefano's among the best she has had in a restaurant. The mussel in the appetizer were large and tender. The tomato and mozzarella had an interesting touch with a little pesto in addition to the balsamic on top. While the online menu mentions you can bring wine it does not state that they do not serve alcohol. Give it try if you are nearby.

Staff very friendly and attentive. When my partner asked what type of sauce they served, our server brought us a sample, and the chef/owner came out to discuss and address questions. She is from Sicily, and really knows her business. We had the salmon special, the fish was delicious, but the rice a little sticky. Our server was happy to discuss and receive the feedback. She then brought us a new type of garlic bread (which was excellent) to get our opinion.
A small family restaurant that is striving to keep their customers happy with simple, well prepared delicious food, and excellent friendly service. We would definitely return to this restaurant.

Local Italian restaurant like the "old days" when these were the best places to find. We had the "Steak Oscar" daily special which was great and a pasta dish that was also good. So much better than running into one of the chains. Creative, friendly, and a fine meal. One little special twist was the light gelato between our appetizers and entrees. Glad we visited.

Wow. We're in town visiting from NYC and just wanted a simple Italian restaurant close to our hotel. Stefano's was way more than we expected. Amazing authentic flavors. Great service. Our family was blown away. We'd highly recommend Stefano's. Who knew a little restaurant in a little shopping center could be so wonderful!

We have been to this wonderful restaurant 3 times already this year! The food is outstanding (tortellini creamy pesto, crab marinara, balsamic glazed salmon etc). The service has been top-notch every time we have been there. Twice our waitress was Adrienna who is very professional. On our first visit, we even were offered "Nonna's cookies" which were exquisite!! The cannolis are always fresh and a nice way to top off the meal! We will be back again and again!
