A most attractive small restaurant in a somewhat rural setting. Worth a couple miles drive. Excellent food, excellent service, moderate prices. BYOB, which keeps the price down. Can't recall the name of the fish special that my wife had, prepared with light ginger and garlic, but it was outstanding. I had gnocchi with bacon and spinach -- enough for two, and delicious. A remarkable soup based on egg-drop with very fine pasta and minced vegetables. Garden salad could be symbolic of the Garden State. Dozens of pasta and seafood dishes. Veal is always excellent, according to our family members who live nearby. We've been there several times, and it's always just right. Service is Jersey-prompt.
