Nine of us met for lunch and sadly, we'd never go back. Several ordered salads and they were very small and certainly not worth the price on the menu. Service was not good as our server never came by to refill our water glasses or offer more iced tea, etc.
The "kicker" was a gratutity was added to the bill (they did state that they would do this on the menu). However, somehow we were .47 cents short when we put in our money & our server returned to the table to tell us all that we were .47 cents short on our bill, after having offered us next to no service.
While having nice ambiance, sadly the food and the service are seriously lacking.

We've been here 3 times. It's a good location in Mt. Holly, once inside it looks like a great little get away for dinner or brunch. But the food is overpriced and not very good. Sunday brunch is a joke! There are certainly better places to eat near by. It's a shame because Mt. Holly is a great location for an intimate resturant with good food at fair prices.

Visited this restaurant with a VERY large group. Called ahead to make sure 30 people (mostly kids) could be accommodated and was told "yes" by the owner ( I guess her name is Nancy, as stated in the earlier review). Upon arrival, we were sent upstairs and were told how the tables were set up...one large table and two small ones. to make a very long story short...Nancy was rude, rude, rude...slamming drinks on the table, getting orders wrong then blaming US for the mistakes. When I tried to calm her down and tell her to take her time because we were not in a hurry...she snapped at me and walked away in a huff. As we left, she told us "don't come back." I have NEVER, EVER seen anything like this before.

Have went to HSG for the last time. Our friends would frequent this establishment for its great selection of craft beer, but too often we had to deal with Nancy ( the owner) and her temperament. Often serving as the hostess, she is usually drinking while she works. Not a good situation for the patrons.
