My overall stay was great. Check in was easy/Check out was easy (they slid the bill under my door and I never had to go to the front to check out). My room was perfect for me. Nice and clean and the bathroom was a nice size also. I really enjoyed the hot showers. I initially chose this hotel because it had free breakfast and a light dinner and drinks at night...Monday through Thursday. Hands down dinner was great with a rotation of Chinese, Pizza and Italian. A fellow traveler on business told me about their hotel complementary dinner and it was less to be desired. The exercise room is not huge but it is good enough to get the job done and they have a water cooler in there, so that is a plus. I really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna it really made my stay better. They do close it down for maintenance every other day but I believe this is to balance the ph levels and it is not shut down the whole day, I believe. As far as my room it was nice and cozy. I enjoyed the four soft pillows. My bed was more on the firm side but it really just boils down to your preference. The Wi-Fi was okay for the most part, sometimes my Ipad lost connection but then it would reconnect. I did use the business center and that was great the only down fall is, they have no scan capabilities. So if you needed to scan a document and attach it to your email you could not do this.

House keeping was great. The only thing I would have liked is for housekeeping to replenish my mints every time they cleaned my room (I know I stayed for two weeks but they tasted good ;) or I could have went to the lobby and got some out of the jar) I am glad I chose this hotel and I would recommend it and I would stay at it again if I was in the area.

My husband and I enjoyed staying here for a week in January while he was doing consulting work in the area. We used the exercise room, hot tub and dry sauna. Mom.-Thurs. evenings we enjoyed the free food in the lobby. The heating unit was quiet compared to other places we've stayed. Breakfast was good and gluten free bagels were even available. A nice gas fireplace was burning during a snowfall. The lobby was tastefully decorated and comfortable.
We will be back when we work in this area again.

We were here for a funeral. The accommodations were very nice. Everything was clean. The breakfast bar was great. What impressed me most was the fact they had a dinner buffet offered. No other place that I know of has ever done this. I understand they serve different dinners on different days so it's not always the same thing. When travelling again in that area, we will definitely stay here.
Thanks for the great service.

Was in the area for a funeral and needed two rooms. Some of the other hotels in the area were comparably priced but HIE included breakfast. We were greeted cordially on arrival. Room was clean. Internet worked great. Liked having a couch in the room. Breakfast was definitely above average. One of the best I have had while traveling. Will definitely stay again when in area.

In my opinion, the quasi-high prices are warranted from the fab location. Seated right next door to Cracker Barrel, you'll be glad to forgo the free hot breakfast in the lobby area of the hotel. It also is close to a number of family sit down restaurants, there are a couple of nearby malls and shopping centers.

However, the room was passable. the bed was kind of lumpy, and the mattress cover on the pull-out sofa bed had stains. The shower was terrible, the water pressure was as weak as a little girl. The ceiling of the shower had hints of scrubbed off black mold.

As a family that loves their movies, I was happy that the TV monitor had open HDMI inputs for my travel Roku. We plugged it in and into the free wi-fi that was strong enough to handle the audio/video streaming.

I do love this area and I visit it a lot. But the next time I stay over I will look for a more comfortable hotel. This hotel is rated very highly by guests, but I think it has something to do with the (although kind of high-priced) comparatively lower prices. I don't mind spending a few dollars more to assure comfort, I am back a day and my shoulder is still killing me from that bed. Some may like this, but it's not my taste. If I am spending nearly $150 per night, I expect a higher grade of room.
