“Never had a bad meal here”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

We've been dining at Saigon regularly since they opened, and it's consistently a good experience. The staff and owner are friendly, service is quick, and the food is both tasty and rea$onable. We were very happy to see a Viet restaurant open in Cumberland county. Personally I usually opt for the chicken vermicelli, it's a lot of food for one meal (though not typically enough for full leftovers to take home) and I really like the way they crispy-grill their chicken slightly spicy.

“Dinner with friends”
Reviewed December 1, 2012

Great stuff and at a great price.
Being a BYOB helps of course with the final tally but quality from start to finish.
Dont miss starting with a few appetizers. Both spring rolls, though small portions, were delicious. At the price, no harm in ordering two. The crepes appetizer was delicious and substantial.
Dont forget to try all of the additional sauces that are provided in the caddy, two are hot pepper sauces and one is a sweet hoisin sauce. Nothing wrong with creating your own sweet and hot combo.
Clay Pot - Hot and Fresh, perfect for modifying the broth with the aforementioned sauces and the presentation is cool as heck.
And dont even think of skipping the Vietnemese coffee, whether you like it hot or cold. The three others at my table had the hot, I of course had to try it cold. Delicious, and the mini french press service was unique.

“number 1??”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

Especially nice appetizers and acceptable main dishes, but the store-front, strip-mall atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. The rating of "number one" on Tripadvisor in this little town is appalling, and is more an insult to the town than the restaurant. Casual BYO and good service, but not for a night out.

Saigon always offers fresh made to order food at great prices, the lettuce salad is awesome as well as the rice vermicelli dishes. Great Aisan food!

“Decent Vietnamese food, good service”
Reviewed September 2, 2012

We arrived a couple of minutes before closing (they were closing early because of the long weekend), but they were very nice and took our order to go. Even if we didn't get to stay long, I saw that the atmosphere in the restaurant seemed warm and good for lingering over dinner. As for the food: it was decent; not outstanding, but more than ok. We ordered summer rolls and beef pho (noodle soup), and the prices were reasonable. The rolls had fresh ingredients. It was a bit on the bland side, but it was offset by the flavorful sauce that came with it. The pho was good too, but I felt that the spices were a bit toned down (I'm comparing it with the pho I had in NYC the day before, so I had a direct basis for comparison.) All in all, if you want something other than the usual fast food/fast casual restaurant, this is a good place to try out.
