“Good food, overwhelming noise level”

First, Albivi is, as are many NJ dining spots, BYO. They have a wine list from a local winery, but you can bring wine or beer with no corkage fee.
Second, the menu, although heavily "red-sauce" Italian, is quite varied; you can probably find something to your liking, and in a pinch, can order a personal-sized pizza (which is excellent) either thin or regular crust, with a large selection of toppings.
The only bad part of the restaurant is probably what makes it so popular with families with younger children: the noise level is horrendous. We had a small table for four, and couldn't hear each other speaking. Of course, this was mid-week, and possibly on a weekend, with mostly couples dining, it might be better.

Always on the hunt for a new local chow-down, wife and I hit Albivi on a Saturday night. Got there about 8 PM and was seated immediately. I was expecting another pizza place with a dining room, but this was a notch above. Small but nice with outdoor seating.

Big menu and moderate prices. We had personal pizza for app and Eggplant Parm and Penne Arrabbiata for entrees. Food was outstanding and service excellent. 45 smackers plus tip. Plus you can get local wine for an average 20 bucks a bottle.

Would not be surprised to see this place a complete zoo earlier with both dining in and take out. Parking is a bit limited as well. My spider sense says to go early or late but go!

This was our first visit to Albivi's and we much enjoyed their food, the dinner and wait staff were a good experience. Our only dissatisfaction was the space cadet hostess that suggested we wait 10-15 minutes on the porch and she forgot about us. After 30 patient minutes I walked in to find numerous available tables and no names on the wait list. The hostess, the same girl that wrote down our name only 30 minutes prior had a clueless look on her face and asked "table for 2"? When I reminded her that we had been waiting on the porch as she suggested she blamed another for erasing our name and didn't seem the least bit concerned or apologetic. We will give them another visit and probably stay inside if there is a wait.

I'm glad that we tried this place. It's not fine dining but its way better than the average area casual Italian dining experience.

The place is a bit cramped. Otherwise, the decor was pleasant and the service was excellent. No complaints here.

The food was a little bit pricey but the ingredients were fresh and everything was very well prepared. Everything was perfectly seasoned. Portion sizes were just right. No one left hungry. We definitely enjoyed this food.

BYOB is always great. Reservation are not accepted - we got there just in time to get the last big table for our party of 6.

Albivi has become our only Italian restaurant. Time and time again everything is cooked to perfection. The thin crust pizza is simple the best. No one else in the area has a thin crust made quite like Albivi. Everything is just delicious and the service is great time and time again!
Try the Tiramisu for dessert if you can make room!
