The Little York is a neighborhood bar and restaurant tucked away in the small village of Milford NJ. We have visited many times for its thin crust pizza. We have also been there for lunch and dinner. The atmosphere in that of a small pub with good beer on tap and a nice wine list and good bar food. We have not been disappointed with the meals we have eaten there over many years..

My husband and I hadn't been to the Little York Tavern in over 15 years. We really enjoyed it. Good menu, good prices, great service and nice choice of wines. Will definitely go back!

We come here as often as possible- the food is very good- mostly Italian dishes and their reputation for serving a great pizza is well deserved. The atmosphere is geat- comparable to a neighborhood bar- pasta house but in a rural setting. Locals and visitors to the area mix very well together. The Little York is not on the beaten path but it is close to the highly visited Delaware River towns of Frenchtown and Milford- it is worth a small detour and scenery is beautiful in Hunterdon hill country. Service is always friendly and attentive- owners usually on site. We highly recommend this establishment..

Just about 60 degrees today and maybe one of the last days of the season for a motorcycle ride. Headed over to Jersey with the idea of visiting Uncle Scotties in Rosemont, which was closed. I’ve been interested in trying the Oyster House in Milford so we went down toward the river. That was closed too. Did I mention it was black Friday. We were getting hungry so we went up to The Little York a place we had been once before and were satisfied with. We were satisfied this time too. We grabbed seats at the bar. I ordered a sausage sandwich special which was quite yummy and unique in that the sausage was piled on the roll in thin slices instead of the traditional link. Hubby ordered a cheesesteak and fries which met with his tastes. We each had a drink, bringing our total to $28, $34 with tip.

We live nearby in this country neighborhood. We eat here a couple of times a month. We mostly order the excellent thin crust pizza. The pizza comes out well browned and piping hot. The pizza sauce is well spiced and compliments any topping combination. We have had raw oysters and broiled halibut on occasion and they have been excellent. They sure know where to get top quality ingreedients. Our friend always orders the chicken parmisan as his comfort food. We hope they continue to be a successful restaurant. They will have us as customers for a long time.
