We decided to try Torino 2 last night after a short walk around downtown Metuchen. All the sidewalk tables were full, but they told us there was no wait to sit inside. We were ushered in by a hostess barely old enough to work and left to wait for 10 minutes while they set a table for 2 that had already been cleared. There were at least 3 other empty tables (for 4-6 ppl). After several reminders from the hostess as to how to set the table, the bus boy (also looked barely old enough to work) finished and we waited an additional 5 minutes to be seated. The hostess seated us and the waiter asked us about our water choice and disappeared. We were ready to order almost immediately and tried to tell him so, but we were ignored. We did receive our water & bread but were still ignored, and after 10 minutes the waiter from the table next to us asked if he could get us anything. We said that we would please like to order and he said that he would get our waiter. We watched our waiter breeze past us 3 more times with out acknowledging our presence before we walked out.
We had a wonderful dinner with the best homemade ravioli at Serata Restaurant on Main St.
