we wanted to do carryout seafood so went onto Obadia's website and linked to the steamed seafood carryout menu and linked to the contact number to order it. After repeatedly ringing busy, i got through, asked to order carryout, got put on indefinite hold, someone came on and asked me what I wanted then said I needed to call the seafood market, which is what I had done, according to their website link.
They then gave me the # to call for the seafood market, which I did, only to be put on hold for about 5 minutes again, someone came on, asked my order, I told her, she said I needed to be on with the seafood market, and I told her that's what they told me the previous time. She then gave me a number to call some other restaurant attached to Obadiah's, so I called that number, got put on hold repeatedly, tried to place my order finally, the person on the phone said I needed to try the seafood market. they then gave me the FIRST number I dialed. At that point I asked for a manager, who finally came on, was very nice but hadn't a clue about how to order seafood carryout from Obadiah's. I finally said "so I guess I should find another restaurant to order seafood carryout from?" and he said "maybe so."
was very weird and really if they're going to do a business in carryout seafood you'd think it would be better coordinated. I can't imagine I was the only one who got the run around.
