We had not dined at Flemings before, since we heard that it was very expensive. So when our son and daughter in law gave us a gift certificate, we, celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful meal! The Sunday Prime Rib 4 Course Dinner was very affordable at $36.95 per person, and was delicious! The special comes with your choice of salads, the Prime Rib entree, your choice of an array of sides, and dessert. Every course was excellent, our entrees cooked as we requested, the sides were huge & delicious, I had green beans, my husband had shoestring fries and onion ring combo and the carrot cake and creme brulee were fabulous. The wait staff were most attentive without being intrusive- delivered our chilled forks for the salad, and swept away crumbs on the tablecloth after each course- and the ambience is so relaxing and cozy. The music was not too loud- something we both cannot tolerate in restaurants these days- and there was no din from the conversations of the other diners, making it easy to have a conversation amongst ourselves without having to speak too loudly. THere is an extensive wine list also. AND, once the manager heard it was our anniversary, Flemings sent us home with our very own decorated petite chocolate anniversary cake! SUCH a nice and unexpected touch! Thank you for a most wonderful dining experience! We cannot wait to come back again!

This is not a review of the restaurant as a whole.
The bar based five for $6 before 7PM is a good deal if you want a good burger. Watch out as well done is actually incinerated, medium rare is medium. The onion rings are exemplary. Grilled shrimp were over cooked but tasty.
Lively, fairly classy, bar scene. Attentive service. No resevations, so try to get there early to assure a seat.

This is one of the most all-round enjoyable restaurants at which I have ever eaten. They get everything right, starting with the service, which is intelligent and professional, not obsequious and showy. I spend a lot of time on cruise ships, and I have never had service at this level, even on the Queen Mary 2. One small example: there was a crying baby at nearby table (who takes a baby to an expensive steakhouse?); our waitress discreetly asked if we wanted to move to another table. We also got an e-mail the next day thanking us for our patronage.

The menu contains all of the normal steakhouse standards, but sometimes with a creative twist, like the porcini-rubbed filet. I also like that their filets come in thre different sizes. The wine list is awesome. It is actually the first four pages of the menu, which gives you a sense of the importance they place on wine, and is arranged within category from lighter-bodied to fuller-bodied, not by price as in so many other restaurants. They also have a quite large selection of wines available by the glass.

Care has also been taken with the atmosphere. The room is somewhat dark, but each table has a ceiling spot shining down so that it is easy to read the menu and see the presentation.

Do, however, be prepared to pay for your pleasure. The $30 average meal price that TripAdvisor shows is low even just for their entrees; with wine, coffee and desserts, it is not difficult to spend $75-80 per person before the tip.

This is the Marlton outpost of what appears to be small chain, and I usually avoid chain restaurants whenever I can. But whoever put together the package - physical setup, staff selection and training, recipes, whatever it takes, got everything right with this one.
