As soon as we walked in there was a "20 minute wait", but it was a little longer than that. Fairly cramped seating arrangement. The service was also fairly slow (I do not recommend the pineapple juice, very pulpy). The burgers were cooked nicely, and fires were very good and salty. The corned beef on rye was very good however lacks a little flavor. But what really turned us off was how cold the restaurant was. The fire place did not do to much and the door was constantly open. We asked the hostess to raise the heat somewhat, but it seemed to be getting even COLDER. Good food and beer, but make sure to bring a jacket.

If you're looking for decent food in a casual atmosphere and want to get a sense of what Maplewoodians are like, this is an excellent choice. If you think an Irish pub should have extraordinary cuisine and a vast selection of microbrews, yeah, you're going to be disappointed.

It often gets crowded, so watch for the line outside the pub. In the winter, the fireplace is a big plus. Service is good, the waitstaff are friendly and well-informed, the decor is well-considered. It feels like you're in the Village's living room.

Food is terrible and service is poor. Much better choices within a two block radius abound. Avoid this place, it's not worth the wait.

Really says it all. It's your typical average Irish Pub. Nothing special, nothing bad either. Assorted Beers on tap and typical Irish pub food. You won't be disappointed if you set your expectations accordingly.

The restaurant has a nice fireplace and the atmosphere is ok. The food, however is variable. The potato leek soup was very bland and spinach salad had little detectable dressing. My husband's meatloaf was somewhat more successful. We had to find our own salt and pepper as well as a fork but service otherwise was ok.
