Easily the best thai restaurant in NJ ; the red curry shrimp is a delight....only inconvenience is that fact that they only serve soft drinks, if you like your vine then bring your own.

This small thai restaurant opened in the last year in downtown Maplewood village by the same owner who owns Mount Fuji japanese restaurant down the street. Decorated in gorgeous dark wood, very family friendly with a terrific selection of thai favorites. Definitely try the pad thai (we had with tofu), mango chicken, green curry with chicken and spicy basil beef. You can't go wrong and our family of 4 had dinner for under $50. A BYOB place. Come early so you don't have to wait.

Clearly a real find in Maplewood! A great Thai restaurant!! The price, quality and atmosphere all make you leave feeling satisfied and felling good! The food was the tastiest Thai food in the neighborhood, including Millburn/Short Hills. The Pad Thai was wonderfully tasty and the curry was so good we ended up ordering an extra one since we couldn't stand not all having seconds. The food is so fresh and served hot. Service was friendly and dishes were happily explained to some of us who were questioning about them. Worth a try in the lovely town of Maplewood which still boasts about no meter parking in town!

Maplewood Village has a nice new cozy thai restaurant, which is BYOB. We went on a Saturday night and luckily go the last table (they don't take reservations). Had the traditional Tom Yom soup (offered with a choice of tofu, chicken or shrimp). The Pad Thai is delicious as was the Penang Beef Curry and Chicken Mild Mango. The prices are also very inexpensive for the amount of food you get - a great addition to the village!
