My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in July 2013. When booking, I requested a top floor room (6th floor) with the view of NYC skyline. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted and check-in was fast. They granted out request for top floor view room.

We noticed the A/C wasn't working great during the first/second night so next morning we called front desk and the engineer came to check on the problem right away, he said the a/c was frozen so to turn it off for 1-2 hours and then it should work again. We left to visit the city that morning leaving the a/c off and when we arrived at night it was turned on so we figured the cleaning lady turned it on and it still wasn't working well so I called front desk and within 10 minutes they brought us new cards to another room on the 3rd floor. The a/c in that room was working perfectly and we were happy with the way they handled it. They also gave us a card to appologize for the invconvenience along with complimentary buffet breakfast, I thought that was really nice of them. The hot water was working on/off when we were in room 610 but in room 307, it was working just great, no problems there.

The bus is super close to the hotel which was very convenient $8.50 for return trip per person. I sugguest buying 10 single tickets for $39 when you get to Porth Authority.

Customer service were great, always greeting us when we would arrive/leave hotel. Would def. stay here again when visiting NYC.

Room Tip: 6th floor facing NYC skyline (make sure a/c and hot water works good though)

This Marriott is quite dated, however it's a 25 minute bus ride to the Port Authority blocks from Time Square which makes it a great place to stay without the New York hotel prices.
The rooms are clean and the breakfast is very good.( Maria is the best server in the business.)
Great value for the money.

Friendly and courteous staff. Close to client and restaurants. Easy access and plenty of parking. Enjoyed breakfast service from Maria at Reeds. Reservations was easy to access via internet. Marriott message for great service excels at this hotel. I have stayed here at least five times and the stays have been consistent. Would recommend this hotel for business travelers.

We stayed in this Marriott for 2 days and it was a very nice experience. It is close to NYC and is just 15-20 minutes to reach downtown New York from here. Since we were in New York for sight seeing, we didn't spend much time in the hotel except for sleeping. We arrived late in the night and the receptionist was very helpful and check-in was breeze. The hotel was very clean and well kept. The rooms are quite spacious and has comfortable bed. The room service was excellent. Car parking is free. The only thing which is not great is the view from the hotel. We got the room which overlooks car parking. Will highly recommend this hotel and will stay here when I visit New York again.

I have stayed here many many times. The rooms are always clean, the customer service staff is excellent. The food is always good, and the bartender Tom does a great behind the bar. Would highly recommend this hotel for people travelling on business or pleasure

Room Tip: Stay on the 4th floor or higher if you want the views of NY city
