Captain Paul's is like a backyard picnic with the neighborhood !! Excellent food. The water ice beats all in the area! Family run with love for all!

“Good Find”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 12, 2012

Driving thru a town i didnt know and stumbled upon this place. Had a couple of dogs with chili and cheese for $5. So good I had to have soft serve ice cream for dessert. You cant have a bad day when your eating dogs and ice cream. I Hope I get lost in this town again.

“Great Little place for lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2012

The dogs were all cooked well, toppings like kraut, chili and relish were all fresh, and the proprietors were very nice.

The shoestring fries were cooked perfectly as well.

“Come for a sandwich, stay for the ice cream”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 3, 2011

Captain Paul's is the perfect combination of hot dog stand and ice cream shop. Plenty of picnic tables outside and some stools inside. The food is always very good, as is the ice cream, but the real treat is the family friendly atmosphere and warmth of Capt Paul and his staff. Each time we visit, we are thanked for visiting and bringing the family. Try to find that any where else.

Captain Paul's is a great place for special treat!
