11 of us had a wedding shower there. They gave us our own room and two staff to take care of us. Staff and service were great. Pricy but good quality food. Would highly recommend. I had the french onion soup, great. The steak sandwich was thick cuts of steak, unusual. All enjoyed there meals.

We have been to Caffe Galleria several times after being told of it by a friend. We are not vegetarians, but there are some very nice dishes for those who are. I had the vegetarian chili for lunch on one occasion and liked it very much. The couple of times we have had dinner I have ordered the pasta (usually linguine) in a fra diabolo sauce and then added grilled shrimp at $2.50 per shrimp. I always enjoy the sauce and the shrimp are large, fresh and very meaty. In nice weather I recommend sitting outdoors, if possible. The main indoor dining room has a nice atmosphere, but there is another room in the rear which is not very appealing and almost appears to be an afterthought. Gelato is also featured here. Although it is good I would not rave about it.

We celebrated two birthdays on our visit to Caffe Galleria and each of the ten of us enjoyed our meal. The waiter was excellent... he was patient with our large group, very knowledgeable and well-spoken. We had ten different entrees and there was not a complaint at the table! The portions are large so plan on a goodie bag. The atmosphere is unique as it is an old home/ rectory restored to a restaurant. I plan on going back to enjoy breakfast as it was well rated in a NJ magazine.

We are regulars at the place for excellent coffee and just had brunch for the second time. The place is charming with all of the pros and cons of an old house, like great character and lousy acoustics. I love that they always have art on exhibit -- professionally hung and lighted.
But the food is variable. One of our party had a great omelet, but the toast was cold and dry and butter/jam came after a long wait. Another was really disappointed in the stuffed French toast, which sounded great but didn't deliver. The server offered to replace the French toast, which was nice, but by the time the offer was made we'd eaten half the order.
SO -- go if you're in the neighborhood; enjoy their porch service if the weather is nice and stick to the great coffee and more simple fare.

Having loved Caffe Galleria for years dinner this week was a BIG disappointment. Ordered the salmon medium rare/medium, came rock hard overdone. The rest of the plate was a mess. The carrots were obviously cooked and held and very overdone and just warm. The rice was a big bump on the plate...the "burre blanc" was a few puddles on the plate...the table next to us were celebrating a birthday and said ahead of our entrees arriving that they too were extremely disappointed in the food quality and preparation compared to times past. My dining companion found a piece of plastic in our Mediterr App (which while plated horribly, tasted good), so all in all a very disappointing meal. Have to give kudos for the Gelato, the Chai and Coconut were yummy..Please go back to what you were, it was REALLY nice!!!
