We went to Anton's based on a Groupon package with Chimney Hill Estates. We were pleasantly surprised by the simple menu. We had the duck, filet mignon, and swordfish; all which were cooked at the right temperatures and extremely tasteful (i am a food snob.) Best of all was the summer tomato salad with goat cheese (so simple, but the flavors literally exploded in your mouth!!)
The decor could have used a update... it reminded us of a haunted house. The decor in the restroom made me scratch my head. The bar area is quaint & cozy. Quite a hidden gem!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Small menu, but food options were well prepared and very good. Quiet, old-fashioned dining room. Take a look at the online menu before deciding to come here. It's great if the food is what you are looking to eat and the ambiance you are seeking is quiet. But if you are looking for something more casual or trendy, there are other options nearby.

This was our second dinner at Anton's. It was lovely. The food is lovingly prepared, the dining room takes you back 50 years, and the service is attentive without being obtrusive (we had Jackie as our server and she was super nice). We will be returning again and again as I think the experience there, as well as the delicious food Chef Chris creates, will always be top notch.

Just had a terrific evening complete with dinner and drinks at Anton's. We were a group of six family members celebrating my mother's birthday; we decided to make our dinner reservations in the dining room, and come an hour earlier for drinks in the bar. This looked like the right call, as the bar menu looked very different from the one we ordered our dinners from in the dining room. Since we were at the bar area a bit early, there were plenty of places to sit, and service was attentive (i.e., drinks came fast!) Our experience in the dining room was equally as satisfying: every item we selected from the menu was delicious, with generous portions. The rare tuna and the roasted asparagus risotto were exceptional. Our server (who was older than the others), was extremely attentive at every stage of our meal. Don't skip dessert! Reading the other reviews it seems to me that trying Anton's on the early end of the evening may be the way to enjoy it best.
