We have been going to Rick' for many years and never had a bad meal. The pleasant and relaxing atmosphere adds to the experience. The Parm Sampler is a favorite and the portions are large. During the summer months, we enjoy sitting in the backyard patio but inside or outside, you will enjoy and remember Rick's.

We, as group of 8 friends, have tried Rick's dinner for the first time. The variety on the menu and the the daily specials are reasonably sized, and each one has found something attractive. The food came out fairly fast, for all of us. Each dish looked nice in terms of color, texture and general shape, making you pausing a moment before starting eating. The stuff was very nice and very friendly, and seemed to know exactly what you need, while responding fast. In particular, the owner seemed to be friendly with everyone, chatting with us and creating a pleasant experience.
The place looked, at first, somewhat small and old improvised, but when you seat and look around, you get a great feeling of an old traditional warm family restaurant. So don't get fooled by possibly deceiving first impression.
The prices are a little on the higher side. The BYOB was perfect for us, as we have brought our preferred wines.
Over all, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Rick's if you are in the area or consider driving there.

We were staying in the Lambertville/New Hope area and settled on Rick's for dinner based on tripadvisor reviews. The place is great because the owners "get it" and haven't changed the decades-old decor, which is vintage tacky and charming, with original wood paneled walls and linoleum floors. It's the real deal, unlike the popular "faux vintage" craze that tries too hard.

The food is flavorful and plentiful. But you'll want to return because of the atmosphere and because of Dana, one of the owners (and wife of the chef). She made us feel like regulars.

FYI: Prices are higher than you might expect from the decor and paper napkins but not unreasonable, especially for this area. Also, it's a BYOB, with no corking fee. Brilliant! And bring cash.

We went to Rick's on a recent Friday night so that we could go to the fireworks afterward. I had the beet salad special to start; it was delicious. The kids had pizza and gnochii, enjoyed by both. My son also had grilled garlic shrimp (that they made to his specifications) and he wanted to lick the plate. My husband had the salmon and also thought it was great. Our server was very helpful and accomodating to special requests. The owner came and spoke to us several times - she was very friendly and indulgent to our kids and their long stories! The tables are very close together -- I find that adds to the charm but it might put other people off. Don't forget it's BYOB - I forgot and had nothing to drink
