Food is good but no longer great. Enjoyed the entrees more than the deserts. Nice ambience. Service was fair and, for the cost, should be better.

“Bad Experience”
Reviewed April 13, 2014

This will be my last time at this restaurant. The service was atrocious. The food was well below par. The Caesar salad was a disgrace. Hardly any dressing and the portion was incredibly small. My freinds oysters on the half shell had 3 cracked shells and he got pieces in his mouth when swallowing the oysters. The duck was way overcooked and the sauce was horrendous. This place has really gone downhill and I would NOT recoomend it to anyone.

“Time and again one of the best in town”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

Mark is an excellent chef. The food is almost always excellent - you can count on having a good memory - stone crab, oysters, shrimp, scallops, short ribs, rack of lamb, quail, and the list goes on. Truly a gem in a great town.

“Fantastic Food.”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

Valentine's Day was Friday, so we went Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. We were seated promptly and although we were close to another table, we never felt that we were sitting too close. The waitress was friendly and had good advice about the food, and we were not rushed or made to feel uncomfortable in any way.

This was our second visit over the last three years, as it is a bit expensive, and a bit of a splurge. But since you get to bring your own wine, it's not that bad.

The food is fantastic. We wanted to lick the plates. Have never had a bad meal here.

“Great food but got the bum's rush”
Reviewed February 22, 2014

The service and food were very good. What spoiled it for us is that when we didn't want dessert or coffee, we asked for the check. It was delivered promptly and we provided our signatures on the receipt. However we were still finishing our wine. But a man (not our server) came over and asked if it was complete , because he NEEDED THE TABLE!!!! That ruined it for us.
