I had made a reservation for our anniversary. When my husband got sick a few days before, I asked if we could postpone our stay. Terry graciously moved our date back as requested. It turned out that we were the only ones there on the new date, but we felt completely welcomed.
The inn is charming and the rooms are well-appointed. We stayed in the Renaissance Room, which had a lovely fireplace and a view out to the front road. There is no TV in either the rooms or the common areas, which is a nice escape from the world. However, the dim lighting makes it difficult to read. The alpacas are fun. We enjoyed our stay.

My wife was kind enough to schedule this much-needed getaway for us at Chimney Hill, knowing that I love exotic animals. "They have llamas for you, and a nearby winery for me," she said, and that's how our vacation began. The llamas and alpacas are out back, and you even get a nice sack of feed for them. After I'd enjoyed myself feeding all of the animals like a berserk nine-year-old on a sugar high in a petting zoo, I was also able to apprecaite Chimney Hill's other attributes.

The main house that we stayed in was a beautiful old-fashioned home that had a wonderul stone sitting room with a warm fireplace. My wife and I immediately made ourselves comfortable in the huge leather couches there and enjoyed the complimentary iced tea and lemonade. The soft jazz and vocal music helped us to release all of our cares and concerns away.

Our room was a perfect example of what you'd imagine a bed and breakfast to be: large bed with wooded frame and quilt, old leatherbound books and a heater that looked like a fireplace. It was all too easy to lie there and enjoy each other's company. We might not have left the room if nearby New Hope, PA didn't turn out to be so fascinating in its own right.

The innkeeper Terry and her husband Rich really helped us to feel at home, Terry was a remarkably warm and kind presence throughout our stay, so that we always felt the love whenever we saw her. It was clear that she cared about her inn and guests very much, and we've never felt more wanted on any vacation that we've been on.

Many of the guests that we met were regulars at this inn, and now we will be as well. I hope that we'll see you there one day!

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at chimney Hill. Beautiful comfortable rooms. Looked at many while I was there. Stayed in the Barn room. The innkeeper Terry and her husband were very friendly and casual. Made us feel welcome from the start. went with 5 couples lots of fun. Didn't need to worry about noise as we had all the barn rooms. The breakfast was wonderful. Terry gave us a bottle of wine and food for her Alpaca's. She provided a map and things to do, places to visit. I would go again. Thank You Terry

After visiting many B&B in New Hope, we visited this Inn, 2 years ago, and now brought 4 other couples, and all were impressed. Terry and her husband are running the show, and doing a great job.You can't go wrong when the owners are right there everyday. Just like our last trip, the hospitality could not be better, felt like family.
Breakfast was fresh and home made. The rooms were inviting, we took over all of the Barn Suites. Two different types of suites, both types have their own charm. Suites 1 & 2, are very comfortable, and have a nice patio off the bedroom. Suites 3& 4 are very impressive, with there Loft Bedroom and Jacuzzi Tub in the main room, but if you have trouble with a narrow spiral staircase in the middle of the night, or have to go, in the middle of the night, other rooms were just as nice. I can not understand the negative reviews. Respect the common rules, and common sense, and you will have a great time. The Main House is beautiful, and the rooms are well appointed.
Keep in mind, some have shared bathrooms, but that a real old B&B. The TreeTop room is very cute & private, but if your tall it may be challenging.

Room Tip: Barn Suite 1 & 2, very nice, like a ski resort, outside patio. Barn Suite 3 & 4, very big d...

My fiancé and I loved our stay. Terry was very friendly and helpful, We had a barnsuite and it was wonderful- we had a Jacuzzi and fireplace. The alpacas were a really neat touch, and the breakfasts were fantastic.
Since we had booked our stay through a groupon, we had a free tour at the Unionville winery which was also great. We also received a 50 dollar credit to Anton's at the Swan. The food there is wonderful but the staff was rather cold and paid barely any attention to us (maybe because we had a coupon, maybe because we looked like the youngest and poorest people there). I was not the biggest fan of Anton's and felt like they were being rude to us.
Otherwise, everything was great. We had a memorable time and will definitely come back again,

I do not even know where to begin the praise for Chimney Hill. My husband bought an internet deal for us about a year ago but due to a few family medical situations we had to re-book the trip a few times (even beyond the dates of the deal/coupon). We were finally able to come for a midweek getaway this March. They were very accommodating and were able to work out some adjustments to the booking after said and done.

We were the only ones here and the inn keeper (sorry i forgot your name) was a total dream. We were allowed to check in early because we were the only ones there and if we needed to she mentioned we can take our time to checkout as well.

The alpaca were fun, and i can see kids having a good time...the female apaca were a bit more eager than the male apaca but i loved them all the same, they're really cute.

We took a nice walk into town and even into New Hope across the bridge, it was a nice day...maybe next time we can rent bikes and go up to frenchtown but for a two day romantic little getaway and do some antique-ing it was perfect.

breakfast was good and there are a bunch of restaurants in town we were able to choose from for dinner/lunch. we would not hesitate to come back again.

Room Tip: we stayed in the barn suite it was great for us... but for those that get up in the middle of the ni...

We stayed in a barn suite #2 for two nights friday thru sunday. The location is perfect close to town, however far enough away were you feel secluded. The owner Terry is just wonderful and definately loves what she does. The property as well as the rooms are well cared for. Room was clean a cozy. We had a small gas fireplace as well as a small refrigerator and microwave. A bottle of wine and two glasses was waiting for us in our room upon check-in. Bed was comfortable however the pillows could have been a little softer. Small patio outside of sliders from the bedroom was also nice. The bathroom was clean and nice, shower was a little small and the pressure could have been better, but nothing to fuss over. Breakfast each morning was fantastic, hot, fresh and fast. We were also given small food to feed the alpaca, which are located onsite. They were friendly and loved the food, except for one which spit at my husband because he wasn't giving it to him fast enough. LOL - Terry the owner is always available to suggest things in town to do and provides a map for you which she circles suggested areas. We will definately be back!

Room Tip: Stayed in a barn suite which I feels gives you the privacy you might look for in a bed and breakfast...
