Chimney Hill Estate & Ol' Barn Inn

We stayed in the "buttercup" suit. The bedroom was small but the private lounge was HUGE! The people were so nice and accomodating. I need the room to be crazy cold and they made sure the room got near freezing for me. Breafast is included and it was the best meals I have ever had. Can't find a single negative thing to say about this hotel. Will be going back for sure!

My husband and I just returned from a 2 day trip to Lambertville. Despite some rainy weather, we had a wonderful time roaming about both Lambertville & New Hope, window shopping, sightseeing and eating in some unique spots. I have to say, however, the highlight of our trip was the Chimney Hill Inn. Our host, Terry, has a warm, welcoming way about her and made us feel right at home. (I only wish my own home was so nice!) The accommodations were just beautiful, in particular the stone sun room. The breakfasts - pancakes one morning and cheese strata the next - were of restaurant quality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return trip.

A special thank you to Eric, the cook. Not only is he a whiz in the kitchen but he was just a nice, helpful person.

The Chimney Hill Estate Inn is truly magnificient Set in a quiet country road with
beautiful grounds where you will find llamas and alpacas. The Innkeepers are so
welcoming and you must have their delicious homemade pancakes. Terry is the
most gracious and kind innkeeper. Lambertville is a lovely town filled with many
art gallaries and antique shops.

We were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary and wanted to get away. But with limited time due to work schedules we had to be within an hour driving distance for a night's stay. Luckily, we found this property and fully enjoyed the quiet and the surrounding beauty of the countryside and the impeccable accomodations and hospitality of the inn. Also, in the town there are excellent restaurants that we enjoyed, Anton's at the Swan and the wine cellar at Lambertville Station. I give this inn 4 stars. We will be back for our 20th!

we had a wonderful time at Chimney Hill. The staff and innkeeper were very helpful in every aspect of our stay -- without being intrusive on our privacy. We were upgraded to a suite by the innkeeper at no cost to us. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The alpaca farm is a nice bonus. All in all, a very nice place to stay and relax.

My wife (fiancee at the start of our stay, wife at the end) and I spent a wonderful 6 days at Chimney Hill, September 2010. We made this booking based on Internet reviews, their website, and some friendly emails to Chimney Hill staff. We wanted the best, because it was our special week to get married, and we were not dissapointed.

We were welcomed on arrival, and shown to our wonderful room. The location was just what we wanted, somewhere peaceful and as far removed from chain hotels as its possible to get. The grounds are nice to walk around and relax after a 4000 mile journey to be there. Breakfast was just amazing, we loved the home cooked food every morning. If that wasnt enough, there is always the opportunity to make use of the butlers pantry and help yourselves to an iced drink and some homemade cookies at whatever time of day or night you want them.

Some members of my family also stayed here, and were given the warmest of welcomes. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here, and we had the best week leading up to our wedding. Those members of my family that didnt stay there were envious when they saw Chimney Hill.

If we are ever back in the neighbourhood, we will stay here without thinking twice about it.
