We drove to vist NYC, but did not want to stay in NYC, too much hassle. We chose to stay at The Holland Hotel, and I'm happy we did. This is an older hotel, but extremely clean, and safe with security walking around the premises. The staff is so friendly, and helpful. This hotel is a 10 minute walk to the path train, which is the subway that goes right into nyc. This subway actually drops you off right inside the bottom level of one of the World Trade Centers!! Can not get any eaiser, and convenient!! This hotel also has plenty of free parking, with the lot right behind the hotel. Also free breakfast, juice, cereal, fresh donuts, fresh fruit. The best place to stay to see NYC!!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is a short walk to the subway into NYC. You can park your car at the hotel versus paying to park in the city. The continental breakfast includes a lot of options. The rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel!

Had a one night stay here to attend a soccer game in Hoboken. Great value for money. Rooms small but very well appointed, tub in bathroom and all spotlessly clean. Decor and furniture is dated but bed was very comfortable. Microwave and fridge in room. Breakfast is free. Lots of fresh pastries, yogurt, juice etc. All the members of staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. Despite being at the front of the hotel, we didn't have a problem with noise at all. It was an easy walk into Hoboken as well. All in all a great place to stay.

Situated near the New Jersey entrance to the Holland Tunnel, this hotel has easy access to all forms of ground transportation. Access to NYC is easily obtained by using PATH trains to connect with the NYC Metro Subway.

The rooms are clean, quiet, & well appointed.

Staff are pleasant, welcoming, & helpful.

Tariff is reasonable.

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate.

Lots of off-street, free parking.

Recommended.

Hotel is right beside the Holland Tunnel so there is a lot of traffic at many times each day, with street lights and toll booths. Hotel room was large enough for two beds, room was clean and everything worked fine. Bathroom was large enough. A very good breakfast was included, tables outside but no seats inside. Hotel needs a larger sign so you can see it more easily from 12th street. Hotel is about a 15 minute walk to subway called PATH which takes you either to World Trade Center or 33rd street, both great locations in NYC. Only bad thing I can say was booking amount of 517$ ended up with 122$ taxes and 15$ service fee with Reservations dot com. Ended up being 813$ plus 19$ Canadian which seems pricey to me. So don't be impressed by what you see on the internet from these reservation companies.

Room tip: All rooms are pretty much equal, but no elevator
