This science museum is decent sized with lots of different exhibit areas (hudson river estuary, infectious diseases, building / architecture, alternative energy). There is lots of reading, which is OK for older kids, but the attention span for younger one's can wane. There were a few hands on exhibits and the more popular ones had pretty long lines.

The range of things that our then 11-year-old son and his best friend found interesting was enormous. They were fascinated the entire time we were there. Worth the trip from Long Island.

It is truly a fun activity science museum that kids do not forget. In fact,
when we call each other, the children reminisce and want to revisit.

Great rainy day trip. Lots inter-active and educational displays. Something for the whole family. Location is a little out of the way but pretty easy to get to.

Love going here. The kids always have a great time and we do too. the changing events make for exciting visits. Go early to avoid school crowds or day camps in summer. and start at the top to work your way down avoiding much of the crowds.

Cafe is not great so plan to bring something to eat or eat when finished at another establishment.
