Great hotel to relax after spending time in NYC, location provides wonderful views of the Manhatten skyline. Stayed for 3 nights, rooms are modern and well furnished, purchased a WiFi pass, performance OK and available throughout hotel, iPads & laptops round the bar are a common sight. Bar food good and plenty of it, never managed to finish a meal due to the size of the portions. A 4$ PATH ticket get you into Time Square in less than 20 minutes, a lot less hastle than a taxi. Flew into JFK and out from Newark, if you have a choice go for Newark a lot closer.

Right on the Hudson overlooking Manhatten, the World Trade Center. Not all rooms view manhatten though. The pool is very small so don't let the photo on the website mislead you. I would stay again, right next to train and ferry and beautiful night time walks on the docks.

My girlfriend and I stayed here this past Saturday night for the wedding of one of my close friends. The views of the Hudson River and NYC from this hotel are great, getting there takes some time though as the Jersey City area is notoriously bad traffic wise...be prepared to sit in traffic. Though there was a long line at the front desk we were checked in fairly quickly and were allowed into our room about an hour before the 4pm check in time. Unfortunately, the self check in kiosk was not working properly...which required me to wait in line...though as I said the line moved pretty quickly. The room was standard for a hotel of this type, very clean and nice linens/bedding. Mattress was very good quality. Nice flat screen TV. Though we did have a view of the Hudson River/NYC you had to stand in the corner of the room to get the view...which we though was a little misleading based on the room description. As we were booked at the wedding rate we saved a few $...but this hotel is pricey so be prepared. The wedding/food/service were all very good...though we did notice that servers were very quick to remove plates off our tables when people got up. Several of use had food taken from us that we weren't finished with, but overall I would rate the even quite highly. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel in the morning as we were told by friends it was quite expensive.
Overall I would rate the hotel fairly highly, we stayed at the block wedding rate so it was more affordable...but still not cheap by any means. With stunning Hudson River/NYC views you are paying for location above all else.
TIP: if you want to save a few $ park 1 block away at Central Parking right down Christopher Columbus Drive (print a coupon off their site first)...we parked for 24hrs for $16....valet at the hotel would have run $32 plus tip.

No complaints here. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the view was OUTRAGEOUS, rooms were nice, breakfast was delicious and prompt (room service). The PATH system couldn't be any closer to the hotel unless it was inside the lobby! Best place to stay in NYC and not go broke.

The Hyatt Regency has an enviable position on the Hudson right across from Lower Manhattan. The PATH and ferry are easy connections to the lower Manhattan area so you barely feel you are staying away from Manhattan. The PATH connects directly to the WTC area and easy access to Tribeca restaurants.

The hotel itself is nice and staff friendly. Rooms are fairly average but have dramatic views. I was a the absolute furthest in from the river and the view was still amazing . Small gym and unimpressive pool - not really worth a dip. Restaurants in Jersey City are fine but I would just go to Manhattan

Overall pleasant stay. Make sure you have the address or that your taxi driver knows location.
