Just got back from the Chapter House, and again a disappointment. I fail to see what the attraction to this place is. 1st off, there was no hostess to greet us, and the waiting area started backing up, and we were a party of 6, as were the people ahead of us, and several other groups behind us. Strike #1. The carpeted floor under our corner table for 6 was littered with what looked like mac and cheese. Then I looked around, and the whole carpeted area was dirty. Strike #2. Then when we opened a plastic covered menus, mine was smeared with what looked like ketchup or some kind of red sauce. Strike #3, and we had just been there a few minutes. The waitress couldn't get our non-alcoholic drink order right. She asked at least 3x; and 2 of us got water. Also our entrees were messed up, too. The appetizers were good, though the bonzai shrimp were just 4 for $13, which I thought was pricey, though they were good sized. However, our main entrees were generally good, though the chicken parm was dried out. The prime rib special was very good, as well as the steak fajitas.
