What a great place - I have eaten there twice now.
Both times I visited were on Sundays - the second time when a wedding and party were occuring - they had complimentary valet service.
Even with 2 events, the inn is large enough that we were not distrubed by either party.
The staff is great - very friednly, and the food was excellent.
Definitely on my list of favorite restaurants, and will be back again.

My rating of 3 out of 5 is for the building not the food. The restaurant and grounds are amazing a grist mill from the 1700's. The fireside tavern complete with a fireplace, also amazing. Good draft beer selection, so far great. We ordered soup , wonderful should have stopped there. We ordered the mussels they were frozen not only frozen but freezer burned and dried out! What a shame. So much wanted to love this place.

The Inn was built in 1769 as a Moravian Grist Mill & many artifacts are evident here. This is a Bed & Breakfast type place with rooms in the inn & dining available also. The property is quite attractive with several buildings on site & on our visit on Saturday 8/22/15 a wedding was taking place in a large tent on a lawn area & a wedding rehearsal dinner was ongoing in the restaurant's main dining room. We were seated in the tavern which is in the lower level & was quite homey. The food was excellent & our choices included crab cakes, bacon wrapped dates, excellent rack of lamb, poached shrimp & lobster, yellow fin tuna, wonderful carrot cake & crème( bourle ?) Our server was Emma & she was knowledgeable & charming

Early evening birthday dinner. Food made to order delicious, staff nice and attentive. The server, Layla, very goo. We had some fish and meats cooked to order; perfectly done as requested: medium rare and medium. Delicious, will be back: enjoyed piano player in the main dining room. Wish we had more time to enjoy the scenery.
