We arrived on at our hotel (W Hoboken) after an early morning flight from Florida, feeling hungry and tired. It was 11-ish -- the time when most lunch places aren't open yet and most all-day places have stopped serving breakfast. We were in a breakfast mood and stumbled upon Hoboken Gourmet just 3 blocks from the hotel. They serve "brunch" from early morning to afternoon. The food was delicious -- my husband had eggs benedict and I had kind of a Mexican version of "matzo brei" made with corn tortillas, tomatoes, onions, and scrambled eggs with fresh avocado on top. Super-delish. The lattes were huge and the service was very friendly and professional. We loved it so much we went back for breakfast the next day and were able to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather!
