We stopped in for breakfast and we weren't disappointed. The spinach omelets were huge and the granola parfait was very filling. We did order 2 homemade muffins and were not disappointed. We walked out fat & happy. Highly recommend for breakfast.

Nice little Coffee shop. Just 24 seats. Friendly staff. You can have croissants, cookies, brownies, muffins. Also you can have breakfast. A funny little place.

For the best breakfast in Hoboken, go to the Hoboken Gourmet, a simple breakfast spot at the corner of Washington and Fifth. The restaurant is small, but the portions are large. From decadent challah French toast to HUGE egg white omelets and even sides of hearty ratatouille, there's something here for every breakfast type. It's a casual place with an exposed brick wall opposite a wall of baked goods. No reservations so plan to come on the early side or be ready for a bit of a wait, which will be worth it. You'll be glad you did! (Plenty of options for the gluten-free)

Looks really nice and artsy, and the menu was to our liking. A few customers but not overly busy but we waited and waited. One couple at the next table sent their food back twice and ended up leaving without eating. Their Eggs were raw and steak nt to their liking, and the waitress called (I assumed) the Manager who agreed. I ordered poached eggs which came with corned beef hash and potatoes. It was just ordinary except for the potatoes which were disgusting - obviously they had been recooked and warmed up. Yuck, they had been recycled several times I believe. Several customers complained of the wait. I was sorry we went there as there appeared to be plenty of choice on the street. We chose it because it looked homely but it was overpriced for what was on the plate and the food not the best. The waitress was really apologetic for the long wait - I felt sorry for her as she took the brunt of customers' complaints.
