I would like to thank you and your family for the beautiful moments that you gave us.

Than you so much for everything!. Your place was awesome.

It was a time that we will never forget. Like I told you before, in all these years, we never had any chances to spend time like this.

Wanda told me that it was a dream come true. We hope that God gives you all the health and blessing that you need in life.

It's impossible to explain with words how grateful we are.

We could not have wished for a more wonderful time.
Thanks for taking care of Veterans

Room Tip: everything is excellent

Seacrest is a very special place, the views of the sea and New York skyline are breathtaking and one can bike to Sandy Hook Beach and town. It has a very special ambience and Gloria, bob and Sherry make you feel very much at home. I highly recommend it and will stay many times in the future. They are very accomodating and Gloria's cooking is as yummy as any fine restaurant. -Dr. G. New York City

This was our second trip back and we plan on having many more trips back.

This was our second trip to Sandy Hook and our seond stay at the SeaScape. This trip we stayed in the garden room which was spacious with a great view. I even saw a deed standing outside our room the one morning. The only downside is half the room is windows so you lack privacy if people are walking around outside. Really had no major issues with privacy you just have to be aware.

The breakfasts were great again and is probally the main reason we keep coming back. They have complimentary coffee and tea which is nice and a fridge for guests to use to keep things in if needed. They also have a freezer full of ice that comes in handy if you are taking a cooler to the beach and need some ice to put in the cooler.

While there we ate at the Wind and Sea which is our favorite resturant as well as The orginal oyster which was very good as well. For the two of us our meal usually came out to $110.00 for the both of us. That included drinks and tip.

This truly is a great place to stay. We would love to try another B&B in the area but its hard to go anywhere else when everything here is so great.

My husband and I have been staying at the SeaScape Manor B & B for about 15 years - we've actually lost track of how many years. The Hartshorne Room is our favorite with it's king size bed and large private deck. The Precious Moments Room has the best bathroom, by far, but the bedroom itself is small. They have the most wonderful breakfasts! Gloria does a great job in the kitchen. Breakfast always starts out with a muffin (well, actually 2 per person), and juice, then fresh fruit and then a choice of an entree. Coffee and tea are always available as well. There is a refrigerator for guests and there are sodas, water, wine and snacks for guests too. Sherry and Robert are great people and we really enjoy talking with them year after year. And, we also enjoy the animals there - Oscar and Freckles are the family dog pets as well as Sammy the "not so friendly" cat. We will keep going back year after year to the Seascape!

The website states "Experience elegance by the sea" but beware.
First of all, you are nowhere close to the sea. It's located on the Highlands hills and it will take you 5/10 minutes to reach the closest beach (by car, in case you wanted to climb a 2000 feet hill by bike on the way back). As for the view, yes you can see the ocean from one side of the house, but the view is right on the ugly bridge that connects the mainland to the Sandy Hook island. Not the prettiest sea view I've experienced.
As for the elegance, when you arrive you will have to cross a large school parking lot that let me down as soon as we arrived. The small park around the house looks like some company was digging gold or installing gas pipes recently and left the ground upside down.
The room where we stayed felt like a lived-in space that was never remodeled for guests.
On the plus side the personnel working there seem to be kind enough to listen to the guest requests and do their best to make the staying pleasant.

In summary if you are expecting a high-end, luxury B&B as described on the website, pass. The place ain't very cheap either.
