We live here all year round and our only regret about BES is that is closes after the summer season. We would so want to enjoy the uniquely prepared, high quality food served by a friendly, professional wait staff all year. BYOB enhances your enjoyment because you can bring a very special wine to a very special place and not break the bank. The menu features fresh, beautifully prepared food for carnivores, omnivores and vegetarians alike. I am the vegetarian, so I pay zero attention to anything that isn't, so I can only comment on the vegetables, grains and pasta--consistently delectably cooked to perfection (not too soft or hard), vibrantly flavorful and melt-in-your-mouth savory, respectively. Reservations are hard to get; go early, if you have to, but go and bring plenty of cash.
