Neighbors have been raving about this place all summer, so when we finally got there this weekend we had high expectations. It didn't disappoint. The casually elegant decor is welcoming without being pretentious. Our group's appetizers...an heirloom tomato salad, tuna sashimi, and grilled octopus were all scrumptious. The octopus especially interesting accompanied by sliced potatoes and grapefruit which was the perfect foil for the charred octopus.
For the entree we had crab cake, steamed clams, and sautéed scallops. My husband loved his crab cake...thick with lump crab and just enough moisture to hold it together. My scallops were delicious...plump and juicy, done to perfection. Our friend's clams were tender and juicy.
Meals are expensive...at least $50 PP, but the food is excellent and original which makes it well worth the price.
