Grounds for Sculpture is a beautiful, meticulously maintained, and quirky place to visit. It is large, and has dirt trails, gravel trails, trails through wooded areas, and pavement trails. There are indoor and outdoor venues. Bring your walking shoes and cameras. However, I did see that less-mobile visitors have an option to be driven around in a golf cart. Every time I visit, I just walk around with a big cheese grin because everything (art and gardens) is so much fun to look at. I've visited during three seasons, winter, summer, and fall, and the nature offers something new to delight in with each season. I was there at night during winter, in the Christmas season, and they put lights up on several trees and sculptures. It is absolutely stunning. Don't forget to stop at Rat's for one of the best meals you'll ever have.

This is such a hidden gem in our state. We toured the park and had the good fortune to take an hour tour led by a docent. She gave a great overall history of the park and picked 7/8 different sculptures to discuss in detail. I think every tour is a little different. This park is lovely year round and has a few good food options on property for lunch or dinner.

We spent a wonderful day at The GFS. Magnificent weather helped but the beauty of the gardens and sculptures were outstanding on their own. The sculptures are beautiful. Some are life size others are much larger than life and some are very whimsical. They are located throughout the breathtaking grounds. Some are right out front, others hidden away off the main road. The Monet house, bridge and gardens are a good replica of Monet's home in France. It houses an excellent Restaurant. There is also a cafe close to the entrance to the gardens. This is a great place to spend a day.

Grounds For Sculpture is like a park. A big area to walk around in with sculptures all around. Some are very nice and some a bit weird but nice to look at.There is also a lake and a Koi pond.

My friends and I spent a delightful afternoon at this wonderful garden. The layout is easy to navigate. We found hidden treasures in small nooks and impressive larger pieces in open spaces. The highlight for me was stepping into a 3-d Renior painting. We also loved the restaurant.
