Very disappointing! Our Son and Daughter-in law took us and his children Sat. to start our Christmas Season with the Turning on of the Grounds for Sculpture .Are they serious? There are some lights on trees and that's it. Don't waste your money Most homes are more festive This is not a Christmas Event!!!!!!!!!!! The Choir was good,,the Tram that took you around was as a joke there were 2 yes 2 for a huge amount of people-- 64 dollars thrown away could of been a donation instead. Hope you read this before you go!

The Garden for Sculpture is a sprawling 42acre park filled with many different gardens, flowers, trees, grasses as a back drop for a display ofs ultures from abstract to unbelievably lifelike . Every path, opening in bushes, gate etc.leads into another hidden unique garden. There are two other exhibition buildings and a gift shop with some beautiful items. And of course,Rats Restaurant is an excellent place for lunch outside overlooking the Monet bridge.Garden for Sculpture is wonderful place for a day trip to spend enjoying one of the more beautiful spots of New Jersey that should be appreciated

I hadn't been to the GFS in many years, even though I live only about 45 minute drive away. My partner and I drove up on an exceptionally warm Sunday in November. What a fantastic trip! They have a great deal, too. If you arrive after 6PM and enter through the Ratts Restaurant entrance, it's half price! We arrived in early afternoon and had a wonderful 4 hour stroll through the grounds. The minimal disappointing thing was that the indoor gardens were closed for renovations. Apparently they will be opening shortly. This is a place you have to keep going back to because you will miss things. What a gem in Central New Jersey! Go if you haven't. It's easily accessible off of interstate 295 in Hamilton, NJ. It's well worth the trip. At the time we went, the entrance free was $12.00 per person and certainly worth every penny in my opinion.

Best to visit in the summer when the landscape is blooming. However lots of interesting activities year round. Check the web page and events schedule.
