Description: Restaurant Latour, is the culinary crown jewel of Crystal Springs Resort. Guests enter a classically appointed dining room featuring a glass wall framing the sunset over the Kittatinny Mountains. In this rarefied setting, the forward thinking cuisine of Executive Chef Anthony Bucco and Chef de Latour Martyna Krowicka take center stage. Developed flavors reflecting the tradition of haute cuisine pair with the artful presentations. Restaurant Latour showcases the best of New Jersey’s bountiful farms and artisan producers. Working closely with local farmers, purveyors and foragers, the chefs follow the rhythm of the seasons to craft two ever-evolving menus that take guests on a fascinating journey that delights the senses. Every thoughtful dish at Restaurant Latour is complimented by a litany of options from The Wine Cellar. Built by Resort founder and visionary Gene Mulvihill, the collection is lovingly curated by Wine Director Robby Younes and Sommelier Susanne Wagner.

I gave some details on Latour in my Cascades review. Overall a great experience. Great service and food but very pricey especially the wine.

This was our 3rd visit in three years. Unlike most American restaurants where for the staff, it's just a job, for the Latour staff, it is a profession. On this visit we had a crab bisque with vegetables for a starter. My husband had lobster which he said was sweet and tender. It was mostly out of the shell. I enjoyed Florida grouper. Every single item on the plate tasted perfect by itself, yet combined beautifully for texture, flavor and appearance with all the other items. Desserts were beautifully presented and as with the other courses, not overwhelmingly large. The wine we ordered was nicely chilled and carefully served.

Service is thoughtful and attentive but never intrusive. Some of the staff were there when we first went in 2009. They are friendly and can be engaged for a bit of conversation. The wine lists (a book each for reds or whites) are extensive. There's a lovely daytime view over the golfcourse. At night, small lights sparkle on plants on the patio outside the windows.

Expect to pay top dollar, but you will not be disappointed!
Resservations are essential. Call 10 days out for a weekend night. It is closed Monday, Tues and Wed. It is part of the Mineral Springs Resort.8594

A truly gourmet experience. The service was excellent and the food delicious. This resturant is extremely expensive but worth it. The wine list is out of this world!
