“Best diner around”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

Always good and always fair priced. These people have been around for a while and know how to deliver a good product. They are also ALWAYS courteous and friendly. I always feel welcome and at home at PBs. Nary a wait either...

“Happy Hour Menu”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

I love this place for it's Happy Hour Menu. The price is right and you get enough food to make a meal. We usually order 3 different things and it's just enough for the 2 of us for dinner. Add a beer and we are under $15.00.

“Great Burger ... excellent specials during sports events on TV”
Reviewed October 16, 2013

Glassboro is a college town ... but just recently with decent hamburger offerings: "Smashburger", "Prime" (on campus), "Landmark" (the bar adjacent to campus) and PB's Restaurant. Smashburger is a western US chain, Prime is the second location of a similar store in Philly, Landmark smells exactly like what it is, and PB's is local. PB's cooked-to-order humongous burger is graced with an absolutely succulent seeded soft hamburger roll; the tasty roll actually adds alot of taste to the meal, rather than just providing a handle to grasp the fresh patty. PB's meat is properly seasoned and juicy. But, the biggest surprise of all is the incredible cheesecake you can get for desert. As a cheesecake freak, well familiar with the varieties sold in the best Jewish deli's of Manhattan, PB's rates right up there with the best. A great burger, french fries that actually taste like potato's, and luscious cheesecake .... whoooo, we're local, so we'll be back next week!

“Breakfast with large group”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

This is just a quick review for a job well done by the PB Diner staff. I was just there the other morning with a large group of about 40 people for breakfast. They were able to seat us together in one end with tables and booths (we had called ahead). The wait staff were quick and capable in getting us water and coffee. Getting orders in took a little time but that was understandable with 40 people. I can't imagine the poor chef or cook when all those orders arrived at once. Nevertheless, the breakfasts came out at the same time for each table and they were hot and as ordered for the most part. Once person was missing toast but the waitress had an order before she could sprinkle salt and pepper. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food, I heard no complaints. My order was a veggie omelette and it was very good. Although our group took a lot of space, we were not rushed in any way. I know nothing of their lunch, dinner or drink bar. If they are as good as our breakfast experience though, the restaurant is on the right track. It is called a diner, but it is quite large and is more of a restaurant. Overall, the food was good and it was hot. It was the same high quality as if we had been a group of three or four instead of the forty that we were. I was most impressed by the efficiency of the waitresses. Thus, in these regards I can recommend PB for your small or large group.

“A basic New Jersey diner with a liquor license”
Reviewed September 1, 2013

Not a bad restaurant but not quite up to the upper crust standards. Still lots of locals come here regularly. Service is excellent. I commented to our server that all my dish needed was some red onions and jalapeno slices and she came back with both in a flash. It's worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood.
