After exploring the interesting shops and having lunch in Frenchtown, we walked across the bridge to Pennsylvania and back. It's a nice short, flat walk.

There is only a pedestrian path on one side that serves for both directions. Hard for two people to walk abreast. When there are bikes and other foot traffic you have to squeeze past.

Cars have two narrow lanes, driving over an open metal grid where you can see the water below!

Ummm, it's a bridge. That's all. It crosses the Delaware. It's very narrow and cool to walk across but make sure you don't forget to walk back across.

A pretty narrow bridge, pull in your mirrors. Nice scenic area by Rt. 29 and Rt32 (PA). Little tourist trap, places to shop, eat, view the magnificent Delaware River. Mostly a warm weather town, places will have winter hours. Not a lot of parking, but nearby spots available. Bike rentals nearby and the wide open Rt. 29 stretch by the river is a popular biking (motorcycles too) attraction. Old RR trail nearby.

You must park and walk over this bridge to witness the beautiful scenery of the Delaware River. A great spot for pics and selfies, too! While in town, check out the shops and restaurants. A nice destination, or stop along the way

The best thing about this bridge is that it connects the towpath bike paths of the Delaware and Raritan Canal (NJ side) and the Delaware Canal (PA side). Great scenery, great riding, and great history along these trails! Bring your bike, or rent one in Frenchtown, then go explore. Very flat terrain, no traffic, wonderful riding. And the bridge adds the Delaware River itself to the mix.
